A strong foundation for progress
In 2024, an important milestone was reached in estimating the greenhouse gas emissions of SEAM label member companies.
- 17 companies were accompanied
- 56 factories were tracked
- 9 managers were trained
This initial step has established a solid foundation for tracking Scopes 1 & 2 CO₂ emissions. The emissions for these scopes in 2023 have been measured, providing valuable insights into the path toward decarbonization.
SECTORAL 2023 CO₂ Emissions
- Total: 129,1 kt CO₂
- Scope 1: 55,4 kt CO₂
- Scope 2: 73,7 kt CO₂
Looking ahead, the 2024 emissions measurement will begin in February with updated figures to be presented at the next workshop in March.
