
The SEAM Steering Group continues to shape 2024–2026 sustainability goals
The SEAM Program maintains its commitment to sustainability with a renewed governance team driving progress in environmental efficiency, production performance, and labor safety across the abrasive industry.
Paris, France (March 25th, 2025) – FEPA, the Federation of European Producers of Abrasives, confirms the current composition of the SEAM Steering Group (SG) for the 2024–2026 term. As with every term, SEAM Members elect representatives to this all-volunteer governance body to ensure the program’s strategic oversight and continuity.
The Steering Group is the decision-making body of the SEAM Program, responsible for ensuring long-term direction on marketing, financial, and organizational matters. The following three (3) members are currently serving for the 2024–2026 term:
- Antje Schwemberger – Tyrolit (Austria)
- Rok Mezgec – Weiler (Slovenia)
- Mats Sundel – Mirka (Finland)
These members serve alongside the FEPA Presidency, which holds a permanent seat on the Steering Group:
- President: Stefan Haag – Husqvarna
- Vice-President: Eric Verhimst – 3M
SEAM unites abrasive manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors of all sizes across Europe to set a practical, credible sustainability standard. The program fosters collaboration and accountability, helping members navigate the balance between environmental responsibility, social impact, and business performance.
