KGS Joins SEAM Sustainability Program, Reinforcing Commitment to Environmental Responsibility

Paris, France – March 31st, 2025 – The Federation of European Producers of Abrasives (FEPA) is pleased to announce that KGS, a leading manufacturer of flexible diamond abrasives and superabrasive tools, has joined the SEAM (Sustainable European Abrasive Manufacturers) program. As an existing FEPA member, KGS is further demonstrating its commitment to sustainability by actively engaging in the SEAM initiative, which promotes responsible production and environmental stewardship within the European abrasive industry.

KGS has already made significant progress in its sustainability journey, having completed its carbon footprint assessment for 2024. The company is currently focused on catching up on its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions calculations for 2023, ensuring comprehensive tracking of its direct and indirect energy-related emissions. Additionally, KGS is preparing to estimate its Scope 3 emissions in collaboration with the Carbon Footprint Project Group of SEAM, a crucial step toward understanding and mitigating its broader environmental impact.
